According to this article, there is an app for that ape. "A budding program at the Milwaukee County Zoo is working to place iPads into the giant, gentle palms of their orangutans. Two of the zoo's orangutans already look forward to weekly sessions with an iPad." The zoo's employees are afraid to let the orangutans handle the iPad's as they think they might snap them in half, but they are able to manipulate them through the bars in the cage.
With Planet of the Apes out in theaters...perhaps this is not such a good idea? I also wonder if this will ever lead to a production request for ESI where the custodian is an orangutan.
