Two Surveys Confirm Social Media Has Reached Tipping Point

http://ow.ly/5TtcJ

From the eDiscovery 2.0 Blog, written by Dean Gonsowski.

This blog post concerns the use of Social Media, and the potential impact that it will have upon eDiscovery.  The article states that social media use is being treated like the 800 pound Gorilla in the room, but that soon it will have to be addressed on a regular basis in legal disputes where productions of ESI are being requested.

The article cites two recent studies that show social media is being used in the workplace, and that corporate I.T. personnel will need to address this trend, for both regulatory compliance, and when litigaiton has arisen.

  1. This would probably be a great article, especially if the Clearwell Systems web site domain weren't shut down and for sale???

With that, here's a relevant, alternative article suggestion: Social Media, SEO, and Haircuts: Enough Already!
