Facebook's Claim's "Smoking Gun" in N.Y. Man's Lawsuit

An AP article on USA Today.

This article outlines the power of eDiscovery and how it may have found a potentially billion dollar "Smoking Gun".  Attorneys for Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg claim that through analysis of the computer information produced by Paul Ceglia's attorneys that the lawsuit against Mr. Zuckerberg is without any merit. According to the attorneys for Facebook, the contract that Mr. Ceglia relies upon to substantiate his allegation that he has a contract providing him part ownership of Facebook was a fabricated document.

It will be interesting to see how this matter plays out in court.  If indeed the contract in question is shown to be a fabrication, this could be the most valuable evidence ever brought to light by eDiscovery.
