This article touches on some issues that pertain to cloud computing, and describes some of the challenges that partners of SRM Legal, such as iConect and Clearwell have mentioned regarding the use of cloud computing services. Is your cloud provider ready to handle 30 TB of information that is related to just one case? What happens if your cloud vendor is sold to another provider?
In addition, of interesting note, the article mentions that there is no standard I.T. definition for "cloud computing" that is presently agreed upon, and the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) is trying to create one presently.
