This article discusses eDiscovery costs and provides some insight into thoughts about the costs associated with eDiscovery processing, and support. In addition, the article asks does the "e" in eDiscovery have to stand for "expensive".
The article further states, "When costs are confusing, vendors are vexing, and you've got a deluge of data, where do you turn for honest answers? Industry events such as our parent company ALM Media's LegalTech are one good source, and there are plenty of LinkedIn discussion pages, but I think what the e-discovery field really needs is an authentic user group that isn't controlled by people who have something to sell."
