E-Discovery Pricing Strikes Back

  http://ow.ly/7tYwj

An article by Evan Koblentz, on law.com on the LTN webpage.

This article provides a follow up to another recent article by this author on the same topic, eDiscovery pricing models.  The comments provided in this article were remarks offered as feedback to Mr. Koblentz's recent piece entitled "The Dark Side of eDiscovery pricing."

There are many different pricing models within the eDiscovery services industry.  As the author writes, " John Rowley, a senior consultant for enterprise legal management at Datacert, gave his perspective. "Really enjoyed your piece. I’ve had endless discussions with litigation support managers about vague pricing from their e-discovery vendors and trying to compare apples-to-oranges pricing," he said."

Similar to struggles that law firms are faced with in trying to provide alternative fee arrangement pricing to their corporate clients, and move away from the traditional per-hour rates, eDiscovery providers are identifying means of providing more predictable pricing models to clients.

  1. A Digital Solutions Electronic Discovery pricing model is great. Many of my clients enjoy not having to worry about back end pricing.
