ESG’s Corporate Counsel Survey Outlines Impact of e-Discovery Market Trends on Corporate Litigants and Legal Services

This is an article appearing on Enterprise Strategy Group's website regarding a recent internet survey they conducted.

As the article states, "The report, authored by ESG senior analysts Brian Babineau and Katey Wood, examines first-hand corporate strategies in addressing the high costs of e-discovery with technology automation, outsourcing, and new pricing models for legal services."

Of interesting note the survey report states, "Over half of corporate counsel tracking e-discovery expenses spent $1m or more in 2010, while 21% spent $5m or more."

The article goes on further to state, "The Research Report, e-Discovery Market Trends: A View from the Legal Department, covers e-discovery budgeting, operations, and resourcing from 48 corporate counsel of large midmarket and enterprise-class corporations of 500 employees or more."
