ABA Program to Highlight E-Discovery Issues, Trends and Challenges

The link above provides information regarding an upcoming ABA event, to be held in New York City on May 18th, posted on the ABA website.

The provided information states, "Experts in trial practice will gather to examine potential changes to federal rules on electronic discovery, the challenges of protecting privileged information and the impact that technology will have on civil litigation during the American Bar Association’s Sixth Annual National Institute on E-Discovery. The conference, sponsored by the ABA’s Section of Litigation, is Friday, May 18, at the University Club of New York in New York City."  Links providing more information are provided in the ABA post.

U.S. Magistrate Judge John M. Facciola will be one of the panelists, and the information provided by the ABA states that the discussion will address such topics as: litigation hold; recent case law; updates on proposed Federal Rules Amendments; and attorney-client privilege within the context of electronically stored information.
